1. Long and Narrow Kitchen

A corridor kitchen is typically long and narrow with a individual row of cabinets on one side of the room, and devices on the other. This style reduces circulation in the kitchen, allowing you to carry out tasks without disruptions from others in your household. It is typically used in compact spaces where space is scarce, and operates best with one or two people cooking.

2. L-Shaped Kitchen

The L-shaped kitchen blueprint includes an island or peninsula that serves as a divider between the cooking section and the remainder of the room. This configuration produces more worktop expanse than galley and U-shaped kitchens. This provides the cook a region to prep food that is distinct from where other family members are able to sit and visit. However, there is unused area in the room because no one can walk entirely around any flank of the kitchen island/peninsula.

3. 3-Sided Kitchen

A U-shaped kitchen floor plan produces a large cooking zone with no wasted space. This kitchen layout boasts an island or peninsula that serves as a barrier between the cooking section and the remainder of the room. The 3-sided kitchen is great for socializing. It gives enough working space to prepare food for groups of people without creating traffic patterns that restrict movement around the cooking area.

4. Combo Kitchen Designs

Mixes of kitchen layouts are very in demand because they give the benefits of multiple style. For example, a long and narrow kitchen that leads into a nook is regarded as a mixed plan. The "L" shaped kitchen is also deemed to be a combination plan..This unique blueprint includes an island with seating which is ideal for entertaining.

Design/build for a laundry room addition and kitchen remodel. Excellent communication up front as we tried to stay within a budget, worked with us where our ideas went a bit over. Excellent work from all the subs, project managers were on top of things and addressed our questions and changes well. I’d highly recommend them for any size job.

My wife and I used Good Company Construction on a MAJOR remodel of our house including a complete gutting of the kitchen, complete new flooring throughout the house, painting throughout, raising the sunken living room floor, new baseboards and trim, a new (and relocated) island in the kitchen, quartz countertops, installing new ceiling beams in the living room, and building custom cabinets in kitchen and living room. I'm sure I'm leaving some things out. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of their work. Colton Cook, the owner of the company, and Mathew Kruse, the site supervisor, not only did an outstanding job but were also great to work with. They went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with the work done. I should also add that they not only did quality work, but they are quality people as well. We are VERY happy with the end product. They next time we need anything done on the house (though I do hope it's a while) we will call Good Company first. We can't recommend them highly enough.
