What is the life expectancy of kitchen cabinets?

Kitchen cupboards have a duration of 30 years. This is due to the humidity in the air and from food messes, which lead them to oxidize and twist over time.

What are the various forms of kitchen configurations?

There are three main types of kitchen designs:

1. Corridor Kitchen

A corridor kitchen is typically long and narrow with a single row of cupboards on one side of the room, and appliances on the other. This layout limits traffic flow in the kitchen, allowing you to complete activities without disruptions from others in your household. It is typically used in tiny areas where space is scarce, and operates best with one or two people cooking.

2. L-Shaped Kitchen

The L-shaped kitchen layout includes an island or peninsula that serves as a partition between the cooking zone and the remainder of the room. This design creates more countertop space than galley and U-shaped kitchens. This provides the cook a space to prep food that is isolated from where other family members are able to sit and visit. However, there is wasted space in the room because no one can walk entirely around either side of the kitchen island/peninsula.

3. U-Shaped Kitchen

A U-shaped kitchen design creates a large cooking zone with no unused space. This kitchen design features an island or peninsula that functions as a partition between the cooking section and the rest of the room. The U-shaped kitchen is perfect for entertaining. It provides enough surface area to prepare food for groups of people without creating traffic patterns that inhibit motion around the cooking zone.

4. Combo Kitchen Floor Plans

Mergers of kitchen layouts are very favored because they give the pros of multiple design. For example, a galley kitchen that extends into a nook is viewed as a mixed layout. The "L" shaped kitchen is also deemed to be a mixed design..This specific design incorporates an island with seating which is ideal for entertaining.

Do I require to do anything after a kitchen renovation?

Yes, it's important for you to clean up any development rubble that may have been abandoned on the premises by workers or technicians. You also need to preserve your new floors shielded from being damaged very soon so ensure you set mats at all entryways to the kitchen and protect your new wood flooring with protective sheets during this time-frame.

Design/build for a laundry room addition and kitchen remodel. Excellent communication up front as we tried to stay within a budget, worked with us where our ideas went a bit over. Excellent work from all the subs, project managers were on top of things and addressed our questions and changes well. I’d highly recommend them for any size job.
Good Company is fantastic! Great group of folks that are real professionals & genuinely care about their clients. You'll be in good hands with Good Company. Couldn't recommend more for plumbing & remodeling projects.

My wife and I used Good Company Construction on a MAJOR remodel of our house including a complete gutting of the kitchen, complete new flooring throughout the house, painting throughout, raising the sunken living room floor, new baseboards and trim, a new (and relocated) island in the kitchen, quartz countertops, installing new ceiling beams in the living room, and building custom cabinets in kitchen and living room. I'm sure I'm leaving some things out. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of their work. Colton Cook, the owner of the company, and Mathew Kruse, the site supervisor, not only did an outstanding job but were also great to work with. They went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with the work done. I should also add that they not only did quality work, but they are quality people as well. We are VERY happy with the end product. They next time we need anything done on the house (though I do hope it's a while) we will call Good Company first. We can't recommend them highly enough.
